JJC Drones partnered with the facilities team at Staples High School in Westport, CT to conduct a full thermal roof scan as part of a preventative maintenance initiative. Using our FAA-approved thermal drone technology, we scanned the entire roof system after sunset to identify potential problem areas—such as trapped moisture, insulation gaps, and early signs of membrane failure.

The high-resolution thermal imagery was delivered alongside detailed visual overlays, giving decision-makers clear, actionable insights to guide upcoming repair and maintenance planning. This type of non-invasive assessment helps schools like Staples extend roof life, allocate budgets more efficiently, and address issues before they become costly disruptions.
