JJC Drones recently partnered with the Westport Board of Education to perform a comprehensive Building Envelope assessment across five schools in the district. This in-depth project included thermal drone scans of roofs, interior and exterior wall analysis, foundation inspections, and air pressure testing—each step designed to uncover hidden inefficiencies and vulnerabilities in the school infrastructure.

Our mission was clear: deliver actionable data to the project Architect and the BOE Facilities Director’s team to support smarter, budget-conscious decisions about repairs and improvements. By leveraging drone-based thermal technology, we helped the district prioritize high-impact repairs and ensure every dollar spent improved safety, comfort, and operational efficiency within Westport’s learning environments.
