EMERGENCY LIVESTOCK SEARCH PROJECT

INSIDE THE SEARCH & RESCUE MISSION

Lost Cow, Found Drone: Emergency Livestock Search

Not every drone mission involves a construction site. One evening, on the way to little league practice, JJC Drones received an urgent call: a cow and her calf had gone missing in the next town over. Within minutes, the bat signal was up (figuratively), and the drone was in the air.

Armed with the Mavic 3T’s thermal camera, we scanned a several-mile radius of fields, woods, and back roads. After nearly 3 hours of flying and ground coordination, we spotted them—safe and sound. Crisis averted. Family reunited.

It’s not every day you get to add “drone cattle rancher” to your resumé, but we’re here for whatever the skies throw our way.
